At the beginning of the lockdown, Martin was closed for almost 4 months, and they fell far behind in production. Fast-forward to 2022 and they're still not caught up. Not even close. Demand for new Martin Guitars exploded exponentially and doesn't show any signs of slowing down. Many of our new orders are into late-2023. If you've found a Martin Guitar on our website and are ready to purchase - don't delay. After it's gone, we may not have another one for a long time.
Of course, we're not asking you to rush into a purchase. Buying the wrong guitar in a hurry is bad for all involved. You don't want to deal with returning a guitar, and honestly - neither do we. If you'd like more information on any of our in-stock Martin Guitars, please contact us today. We play the products we sell & we want to get you the right guitar the first time.
Alternatively, maybe there's a Blueridge Guitar that would fit the bill. Many of the current offerings from Saga Music are heavily inspired by Martin Guitars. We know the Blueridge line better than anyone and we'd be happy to help you navigate these models, and show you which Blueridge Guitar is most similar to the Martin you were looking at. Obviously, a Blueridge isn't a Martin - but you might be surprised at the tone & feel of these great guitars. In some cases you might even prefer the Blueridge neck & string spacing.
Thanks for your understanding, and here's hoping we can connect you with the guitar you need before these inevitable inventory delays begin.
