Maury compares 2 Martin D-28 guitars. In the first video, we shot the footage without restringing the guitars. It's probable that one set of strings is slightly older, and more broken-in than the other.
In the second video, both D-28's are re-strung with brand new sets of Martin MSP-7200 strings. BOTH videos were recorded direct to disk with a Rode NTG-2 microphone, with no processing, effects or EQ. Same room, same pick, same playing style.
