Today’s Martin OMs were inspired by the first 14-fret “orchestra models” that appeared in 1930 to revolutionize the acoustic guitar happily ever after. Featuring the same Auditorium body size as a 14-fret 000, the OM is supercharged by the string tension of a long-scale neck and responsive 1/4" bracing, for effortless projection and wide ranging dynamics. Perhaps the most versatile design available, the OM can satisfactorily perform all the rock and folk strumming imaginable, while being an excellent choice for fingerpicking. This is Maury’s favorite size for playing rock n roll, and Laurence Juber’s favorite size for playing his amazing, Grammy-winning fingerstyle arrangements.
