Martin has combined their favorite aspects of the former Acoustic® string line and the previous SP® string line, to create a new line of premium strings for a great price. Taking steel core wire that has the highest tensile-strength Martin has ever used, they tin-plate it to insure all six strings have excellent corrosion resistance. Then they use wrap wire for the wound strings that is of the highest quality alloy, in either 80/20 Bronze or 92/8 Phosphor Bronze formulas.

The results are nothing short of spectacular, as the high tensile-strength core wire is packed with the potential energy that brings the strings to life while withstanding countless hours of tuning and returning during the rigorous playing schedule.
