Factory Setup vs Custom Setup

Every single guitar we sell goes through Maury's exclusive 10-point inspection.  Once the instrument passes Maury's inspection, we offer you two choices... stick with the Factory Setup or choose Maury's custom setup to your specs.  Which way should you go? We've listed the differences below to help you make your choice.

FACTORY SETUP - FREE
With the Factory Setup, your guitar will arrive in your hands the way it was setup by Martin and Saga Music (Blueridge guitars).  We guarantee that it will be free from defects and blemishes, and it will be within Martin and Saga's tolerances regarding action (string height) and neck relief (amount of bow in the neck). Most Martin & Blueridge guitars arrive here with the action somewhere between 5/64" and 4/32" at the bass E - 12th fret and very little (if any) neck relief.  The action at the nut is almost always near-perfect. Your guitar will remain strung up with the factory strings. It is not necessary for you to provide us any further information, because no adjustments will be made. If you choose the FACTORY SETUP option, any set-up information you provide will be disregarded. If you have any reservations about the height of the strings, you will need to upgrade to the Custom setup.

CUSTOM SETUP - $60
With the custom setup, Maury will perform a setup based on the information you give him.  Please use the comment boxes to tell us as much as you can about your playing style, and which strings you would like on your new guitar - these are included in the price of the custom setup.
