The endpin is the piece of material that secures your guitar strap at the very bottom of the guitar. The endpin looks like an oversized bridge pin. Most Martin guitar endpins are made of plastic, but some of the more expensive models may come with an ivory endpin. Unlike the bridge pins, the endpin has NO effect on the guitar's tone or sustain. It is simply a visual upgrade.
