I spoke with Maury when ordering this guitar and returned from a trip to Colorado on Monday night and last night I received my new Martin from you all just as Maury promised!
I just had to reach out and let you know how impressed I am with the ordering, preparing an delivery of my new friend identified coldly as 1981154.
The upgrade to the bone pins with the faux tortoise insert really makes the guitar look better and from the sounds of it...sound better as well.
Of course the strings are REALLY new and are still stretching etc but this baby purrs! I'm totally in love with my new guitar. My HD28 might get lonely.
Anyway I could go on and on but I really just need to get this point across..you guys did an awesome job preparing the guitar; the action is awesome (not always the case with Martins straight from the factory, they can be a bit high) with no buzzing, ringing or other unwanted sounds...
This guitar is not only physically beautiful it sounds and plays awesome right out of the box!!!!!
I can only imagine how this thing is going to sound as it ages and opens up! This guitar is one of those keeper for life one's!
I just couldn't be happier that I made this purchase from Maury's. You have me as a life long customer now..I'll always look to see if I can get any of my guitar needs met with Maury before shopping elsewhere! Gotta support the small business man (or lady)..why?
Because you'd never get this kind of personal service from a big box company and a call center! I called a couple times before and (shame on me I don't remember the ladies name) asked some questions from a very nice lady and the third time when I called to order and to make sure it wouldn't arrive when I was away I got Maury. He promised delivery would not occur prior to my return home and gave me a couple tips regarding set up and my choice of upgraded bridge pins etc. Everything went as planned and I couldn't be happier!
So to Maury and to all who helped in bringing this guitar to me in such awesome condition a huge thank you! (or as we used to say when I was young man in the Navy.."Bravo Zulu" (translation: Well Done) THANKS!

I just ordered a Martin Custom shop guitar from Maury's. Maury helped me spec it within the context of the custom shop. He made sure that the quote provided is what I wanted. I had to sell another guitar before committing to this one and it took longer than expected. This didn't faze Maury at all as he came back with the identical quote almost 4 months later. He's easy to work with and very, very knowledgeable especially about Martins and I'm sure with all the other lines he carries.
I don't buy guitars very often, unfortunately, but Maury's is the first place I go to and usually the last. Thanks Maury!
