Likes: Put these in my 1990's Martin 00-15. Wow!! Did they wake it up. Clarity, sustain and volume all at once. My wife was blown away by the change in the guitar.

Additional Comments: Great service by Maury's Music! Slowing changing the pins on my guitars.

Likes: Ordered a set of bone bridge pins with ebony inlay for my 2006 Guild F50. The size 4.2D pins fit PERFECTLY, and look fantastic. In additional to improving the looks of my guitar, the new bone bridge pins significantly increased sustain. Highly recommend giving these a try. Quality is great, price is very reasonable, and shipping ninja-quick.

Dislikes: None

Additional Comments: Size 4.2D a PERFECT fit for Guild F50.

Likes: I Just replaced the plastic Pins in my HD-28V.  After reading opinions on the web about pin upgrades I was not sure what to expect.  I am pleasantly surprised... I don't have "pro" ears, but I can definitely hear the difference.  The guitar is still warm and woody, but the new pins added voume, sustain and did make the guitar a bit brighter sounding overall.  No string changes (already had a new set on it) so it was a pure A / B test as it only took a couple of minutes to swap them.  So - I definitely recommend over the stock plastic pins (surprised Martin ships such a nice guitar with plastic pins if this simple and cheap upgrade makes a noticeable improvement).  Also - Maury shipped so fast I couldn't believe it!!!

Dislikes: None - give them a try unless you have lots of money then go for FWI!!!

Additional Comments: Thanks Maury - I relied mostly on your sites review and made a good call...

Likes:  Improved sound quality, and appearance of my Gibson J-45.  The 2A size fit perfect.

Dislikes: None

Additional Comments: The stock plastic pins have a seam line, on top of the pins.. the side of my hand would hit that while playing. Wish I had bought these bone pins sooner.

Likes: They are highly polished and I believe only added to the tone of the guitar upon installing a bone compensated saddle.

Dislikes: Not sure how these would improve tone if you only got the bridge pins without a bone saddle.  Not a dislike but just an uncertainty.

Additional Comments: Great product for the money.  If you are an aggresive bluegrass picker then you need all the volume you get muster.  For less than $45 you can increase your volume by like 15-20% along with making the tone more clear.  It will knock your socks off.  Also, splurge for the Greven TorTis pickguard.  You will not be disappointed at all.

Like about the Bone Bridge Pins:  A cost-effective replacement part.  These pins will far outlast the standard plastic bridge pins that come with a new Martin.  They do not warp, distort or get chewed-up along the string grooves and this in turn will reduce string-ball related damage to your bridgeplate.  Tonal interpretation is purely subjective.  In most instances bone bridge pins will add some clarity and sustian to your guitar providing you have a decent saddle (1. something non-plastic and 2. minus any deep notches which have a tendency to mute the tone of your guitar strings).

Dislike about the Bone Bridge Pins:  Nothing.  As a matter of fact, considering the price of a new Martin these days, bone or ebony bridge pins should be included as stock items.  For the traditionalists who hanker for the cheap plastic originals, they could also be included in a little plastic bag in the accessory compartment.  Just a thought.

Additional Comments:  The prices listed at Maury's for this product are just about the best around considering that $30.00+ is the usual going price for a set of bone bridge pins.  In order to avoid getting nicked by the shipping charges for such a small order, you might want to add some accessory items like a few sets of guitar strings, a New Tortis flatpick or whatever it takes to qualify for free shipping.  Best bet is probably to order a brand new Martin considering Maury's excellent prices.  Some dealers even include thank-you gifts like a New Tortis flatpick or an accessory item of your choice providing they don't give the store away in the process.  Ask and you shall receive, to a certain extent.  :)

Like about the Bone Bridge Pins:  Great improvement over the Stock Pins that came on my Gibson J-45!  Improved overall performance by enhancing sustain and tone.

Dislike about the Bone Bridge Pins:  Nothing.

Additional Comments:  I have used Tusq, Plastic, Rosewood, and Brass Bridge Pins on my J-45.  These Bone pins produced a noticeable difference in Sustain and Volume!  Highly recommended!

Rating you give the Bone Bridge Pins:  4 - Highly recommend it

Liked about the Bone Bridge Pins:  Adds brightness and definition to the sound of my D-15. A very bassy and midrange heavy sound with the stock pins, the bone pins have made a real, much needed difference right away in the tone of the guitar, with no other alterations.

Disliked about the Bone Bridge Pins:  Nothing so far.

Additional Comments:  Well worth the money - I'd recommend a set of these to anyone wanting more sustain and clarity from their Martin.
