Additional Comments: I am totally amazed at the quality of this guitar! I wanted to have it setup, but wanted to have it shipped faster, so I took a chance that action, frets, intonation, no buzzing, etc. would be OK. Not only was it OK....it was outstanding on every count. (Note: It did take a couple of hours for the strings to "settle" a bit....but that's just new strings.) I can't say enough good things about this guitar! (I have many guitars...including a 1963 Martin D-28 with Brazilian Rosewood, a Gretsch Country Gentleman, and several other quality instruments... so I have something to compare this to!) If you're looking for a tenor guitar I bet you won't find anything that can touch this if you spend a lot more money!

Likes: Tone is exceptional, playing ease and comfort are great. The instrument is a superior value in the market place.
Dislikes: I have not found any.
Additional Comments: I have a Martin 0-18T and this BR40-T is a close second. It has a bright, punchy tone with good volume.

Likes: Tone and volume are surprisingly bright and vibrant mirroring that of a Martin 018-T. Neck and fretboard are comfortable and well designed.
Dislikes: No dislikes.
Additional Comments: This guitar is a terrific value in the tenor guitar marketplace. It is an attractive instrument with exceptional performance for a popularly priced guitar.

Likes: Soundboard quality (tight grain with lots of silk), setup (med. low with no buzzes and all frets uniform), intonation extremely good - even when measured with my Conn ST-11 Strobotuner, fit and finish, hardware, sustain and tone are all excellent.
Dislikes: Abalone inlay on headstock isn't really inlaid so it looks a little unusual -- pretty though.
Additional Comments: I bought this a few weeks ago and I can't put it down. Fit and finish are superb and the tone is very nice. I couldn't believe the quality of the soundboard. Although it doesn't affect the playability, Maury's service and communication are excellent so it just makes the whole experience that much nicer.
