Likes: The sound and tone of the solid mahogany back and sides with the solid Adirondack top are vintage.
It is very clear and loud.
The playability is nice all over the fret board.
The tortoise binding, the ebony fingerboard, the select one-piece mahogany neck, and the ebony bridge are worth the difference in price from the 140-A to the 240-A.
This is a good sounding guitar for the price.
Dislikes: I did notice glue on the inside of the guitar by the neck block.
(A small amount.)
If you look close, the pickguard does not line up perfectly with the soundhole rosette.
(Not very noticeable)
Looking straight at the top it looks great.
But when I held it up looking across the top below the bridge, there are two quarter sized in diameter dips.
Not noticeable unless you hold it up, and look across the top.
None of these imperfections made it a deal breaker, just not perfect.
I would rather the natural mahogany headstock than the Indian Rosewood overlay
Additional Comments: I replaced the plastic bridge pins to Buffalo Horn bridge pins.
