The 00-28 Modern Deluxe Lefty is a major step up from the Standard Series’ already grand 00-28, and any other rosewood Grand Concert guitar on the market. The warmth and complexity of East Indian rosewood is amplified and opened up by a VTS spruce top, and made all the more resonant by its 1/4" VTS Adirondack spruce bracing, scalloped in the Golden Era style and attached with natural protein glue for optimum responsiveness and resonance.
The composite carbon fiber bridge plate and advanced Liquidmetal bridge pins increase volume, sustain, and note-to-note definition of the vintage Martin tone. The comfy short-scale Vintage Deluxe neck fits the hand effortlessly at every position. The classic vintage herringbone trim lines the top and prewar-style Diamonds and Squares fret markers are inlayed between the ultramodern EVO Gold frets that are matched with gold tuning machines. Further upgrades include European flamed maple binding and a pearly script logo rarely seen since the early 1930s. The Martin 00-28 Modern Deluxe Left-Handed is also available right-handed.
